CHICAGO — As Illinois students head back to the classroom for another school year, the Chicago Teachers Union continues to put political propaganda, money and power above reading, writing and arithmetic. See for yourself from the Chicago Teachers Union:

• Wants billions of dollars in taxes while slashing their own tax contributions
• Prioritized climate initiatives in contract negotiations that could shut down schools
• Payed teachers to skip school to lobby for their radical, progressive agenda
• Believes that “standardized testing is a tool of white supremacy”

Meanwhile, spending is up 97% and grades are down between 60% and 80%

“JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson would rather spend billions of dollars on the Chicago Teachers Union extreme, radical Leftist agenda before balancing the budget, lowering taxes and helping Illinois families,” said Illinois GOP Chair Kathy Salvi. “Instead of giving a blank check to indoctrinate our students, we need to be teaching them reading, writing and arithmetic while giving them the tools they need to be successful. Bottom Line: While Brandon Johnson believes that murders, shootings and robberies are part of a “safe” convention, Illinois Republicans are committed to electing strong, tough on crime conservatives to help keep our communities safe.

CHICAGO — Tonight, Kamala Harris will address the Democratic National Committee, days after the party approved a platform referencing Joe Biden’s second term more than 20 times. Meanwhile, Harris continues to shy away from her leading role in the Biden Administration as vice president while refusing to address her own policy positions and priorities. There’s a reason why – she’s too radical for Illinois and too radical for America.

“Illinois families are feeling the pain of rising prices and inflation at the gas pump, the grocery store, and their dwindling savings accounts. It is time to get our state back on track and fight for the families that JB Pritzker, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have left behind for far too long. Well, here we go: the circus is in town.

No, I’m not talking about the Ringling Brothers or Barnum and Bailey – at least they’re entertaining – but rather the Democratic National Convention. This week we will be force fed speeches from Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and endure the woke primping and preening spewed from the Democrat mouthpieces on stage.

Chicago is a fitting city for the Democrats to hold their convention: it is a great city in slow decay due to backward leftist and authoritarian policies. Crime is rampant in Chicago and has only gotten worse since Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed the pro-criminal SAFE-T Act. Cost of living is sky high because Illinois is among the most-taxed states in the nation. All of these problems are due to blue rule, and they will be on full display for everyone visiting Chicago for the circus.

Make no mistake, we here in Illinois are hurting. Workers are hurting. Families are hurting. Children are hurting, small businesses are hurting. No matter your political persuasion. We are one big hurt under the supermajority, Democrat domination in Illinois. And what has it delivered? A flight from Illinois, an unbearable tax burden on ordinary people, an unsustainable pension crisis, crime-ridden neighborhoods, unaffordable food & gas prices.

All of this brought to us by the Illinois Democratic Party. Democrats control the governor’s mansion, the two U.S. Senate seats, 14 out of 17 congressional seats and a supermajority in the Illinois House and Senate as well as the mayor’s office here in Chicago. Their only use for the Republican Party is to ridicule its sound policies and trigger hatred in those from whom they seek money to pursue even more power.

We Republicans are scrappy and will fight, fight, fight our battle at the ballot box. In an analysis of those cities in Illinois run by Republican mayors here in Illinois, the air is fresher and the people happier.

CHICAGO — Last night, Americans heard from Joe Biden, whom elite Democrats unceremoniously removed from the ticket in an undemocratic process. Tonight, voters will listen to presidential hopeful, JB Pritzker, who will use his prime-time speech at the DNC as a stepping stone for a future presidential run – just as he used his time as governor to position himself as a viable national candidate.

FIRST: Pritzker traveled to New Hampshire in 2022 to raise his profile and set up a future presidential run.

THEN: Pritzker refused to quash rumors that he would leave Illinois to run for president when Democrats launched their soft coup against Joe Biden.

THEN: When Kamala Harris was announced as the Democrats’ preferred choice, even though she never received a vote outside of California, Pritzker launched a full-court press campaign to become her vice president.

NOW: After failing to earn the nod as the vice-presidential nominee, Pritzker immediately pivoted, making an effort to become the Democrats’ choice for president in 2028.

“JB Pritzker failed Illinois as its governor allowing our state to be overrun by illegal border-crossers, out-of-control crime, billions of dollars in new taxes, and as a result, our great state is in slow decay. Businesses are taking flight leaving and Illinois’ citizens and taxpayers are left paying the check. Today, as the Democratic National Convention kicks off in our nations murder capital, all eyes are on Joe Biden, who will be out of a job in January after Democrats launched a soft-coup to remove him from office and appoint Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the party, despite the fact that she has NEVER received a single vote outside of California. While Joe Biden wants to pull the wool over the media’s eyes, here’s what they need to remember:

• Prices are up 20% under the Biden-Harris regime including, gas prices up by 50.5%, rent is up 22%, and groceries are up 21%
• “Border Czar” Kamala Harris allowed 99 members of the terrorist watch list into our country amid the worst border crisis in U.S history
• The Biden-Harris administration has ruined our standing on the world stage, emboldened our enemies and decimated our military
• Our national debt continues to rise to record levels
• Things will be even worse under the Harris-Walz administration. Don’t forget that Kamala Harris was the most liberal senator in the country, to the left of Bernie Sanders.

At least Americans can breathe easy knowing that Illinois’s own out-of-touch leftist billionaire governor JB Pritzker won’t be a heartbeat away from the Presidency anytime soon. With leftists like these headlining the Democrat ticket, President Trump’s message of secure borders, safe streets, and prosperous communities will win in November”.

CHICAGO — Yesterday, Illinois Democrats denied reality voting against condemning Vice President Kamala Harris’s handling of the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed cities like Chicago and others across the nation. Every Democrat (except one who lacked the courage to vote on the position) voted down the resolution, which passed the House of Representatives yesterday.

Illinois Republican Party Chair Kathy Salvi released the following statement:
“Democrats in this state have told us to believe our lying eyes so many times, they’ve started to do it themselves. From denying unquestionable outmigration numbers to gaslighting families with tax hikes they call tax cuts, the lies have become so extreme that Democrats in this state actually believe Vice President Harris’s handling of the border was not an unmitigated disaster. Under the Biden/Harris administration, border interactions have skyrocketed, reaching an all time peak of 250,000 just this past December. CHICAGO — As Democrats from across the country scramble to get into Vice President Kamala Harris’s good graces, JB Prtizker has joined the fray hitting the liberal national media circuit as the latest Governor to kiss the ring in a desperate attempt to leave his state for Washington.  Pritzker has made no secret that he has ambitions beyond *just* governing our state.

CHICAGO — Last week, the Illinois Republican Party saw President Trump and the Republican National Committee outline the priorities of the Republican Party and the path to victories up and down the ballot in November. New Chair Member elect, Kathy Salvi, also spoke to reporters about the future of the Illinois Republican Party. Here’s what they are saying:

“For the first time since the election last week, the chairwoman-elect shared her message for the party during a breakfast for delegates on Wednesday morning.”

“‘We’re going to make Illinois red again,’ Salvi said.”

‘My position as the party chair will be to collaborate with every person who’s on the ballot to support them in winning their election, and I support the Republican platform,’ Salvi said.”

“Salvi tried to put party divisions aside, declaring that Republicans will be unified in 2024 despite her predecessor’s resignation letter lamenting that too many Illinois Republicans would prefer to fight other Republicans than work to defeat Democrats.”

“Salvi and McCombie both focused on electing more Republicans in the deeply blue Illinois, with Salvi returning to her speech’s chorus: ‘Republican unity wins in 2024.'”

“Although Salvi doesn’t officially step into her new position until the end of the week, she was elected by the state central committee last Friday. She said she had a “single-minded dedication to winning elections,” and remarked that “everyone who is willing to take the Republican ballot is our friend.” She was slated to participate in her first media availability afterward.”
