“And I can only hope and pray that no violence and harm comes to any person on account of those irresponsible and incendiary remarks,” Salvi told The Center Square Monday.

CHICAGO — Last night, JB Pritzker’s attempt to woo New Hampshire Democrats as he barrels towards the 2028 Democrat primary was full of divisive and inflammatory rhetoric. Pritzker’s obsession, to insult and to chastise President Trump, showed forcefully as he stoked the crowd in calling for political violence against Republicans.

“JB Pritzker’s ego-driven obsession with becoming President is putting Illinois, and Republicans across the country, at risk,” said ILGOP Chairman Kathy Salvi. “His inflammatory and dangerous speech is focused on further dividing our country and I hope to see Illinois Democrats condemn his call for violence.”

“Last night, Pritzker showed us that instead of helping hardworking families, he would rather raise their taxes, defend MS-13 gang members and watch businesses flee Illinois,” Salvi continued. “It’s become clear that Pritzker’s only priority is what’s best for him and his presidential bid. This weekend’s trip to New Hampshire is further proof that he’s already left Illinois behind.”

THEN: When Kamala Harris was announced as the Democrats’ preferred choice, Pritzker launched a full-court press campaign to become her vice president.

THEN: After failing to earn the nod as the vice-presidential nominee, Pritzker immediately pivoted and is working to become the Democrats’ choice for president in 2028.

NOW: Pritzker is in New Hampshire, wooing Democrat donors and soft launching a presidential campaign focused on lies, division and insults.

IL Dems Are Putting Students Between A Rock And A Terrible Place

CHICAGO — In case you missed it, the Illinois Senate Republican Caucus sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi asking for the Trump Administration to issue clarifying guidance to help protect women’s sports in the Prairie State. Illinois Democrats like JB Pritzker and Kwame Raoul are putting our children at risk by defying federal law and playing dangerous, political games with our children.

By keeping biological men in girls sports, Illinois Democrats are fighting against the safety and sanctity of girls sports and putting their radical, extreme agenda first. Additionally, millions of dollars that Illinois receives in federal funding is now at risk. Our schools are forced to either defy State Law or Federal Law and there is no clarification from the state besides media soundbites and squabbling with the Trump Administration.

Illinois Senate Republicans are asking Attorney General Bondi for clarification on whether Illinois’ current position permitting biological males to compete in girls’ sports violates federal law, if that position places the state at risk of losing federal education funding or facing legal action from the Department of Justice and what steps must Illinois take to align with both the Executive Order and Title IX.

Bottom Line: Illinois Democrats are putting students between a rock and a terrible place.

Kathy Salvi, chair of the Illinois Republican Party, said there’s an “audible groan” from Illinois residents whenever his name is mentioned.

“He is hugely unpopular here in Illinois and that’s because we see him for who he is,” Salvi told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “He’s got a soft launch of his presidential bid in New Hampshire that just proves Illinois has just been a stepping stone for him to advance his personal ambition while we’re settled here with the heavy effect of his administration’s failed policies.”

CHICAGO — It’s tax day in Illinois, which means that families are gathered around kitchen tables finalizing their taxes, while Illinois’ Democrat leaders sit back and collect the dough. Illinois has one of the highest tax rates in the U.S., and JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson have made it clear that they want to raise that number even higher.

The proof is in the pudding:

• Last year, House Democrats approved a $750 MILLION tax hike package, including a hefty pay raise for themselves.
• Pritzker’s current budget proposal CUTS economic development, while attempting to mend deep-rooted problems with quick-cash fixes.
• Brandon Johnson’s $165 MILLION tax hike was just approved by the Chicago City Council as Johnson makes it clear that he’s coming for Chicago families’ paychecks.

Bottom Line: This has gone on long enough. Illinois cannot afford more bloated budgets and families cannot afford the tax hikes that wannabe-President Pritzker and Brandon Johnson are proposing.

CHICAGO — In a surprise to absolutely nobody, another Illinois Democrat has been exposed for improperly accepting MILLIONS of dollars in campaign cash. This time, the culprit is Illinois Senate President, Don Harmon, who showed that he is beholden to big-money interests including pro-sports betting groups.

The Democrat Machine in Illinois has led a culture of corruption for decades, putting special interests and big-money donors over Illinois families. Unfortunately, Harmon’s corruption is just another rung in a long, long ladder. Don’t forget that Illinois Democrats like JB Pritzker have continuously swept former Democrat kingmaker Mike Madigan’s corruption under the rug for their own benefit.

Bottom Line: Corrupt Democrats lie, cheat and steal while Illinois families pay the price.

CHICAGO — Today, ILGOP Chair Kathy Salvi released the following statement following the passage of Amendment 2 to HB2827, also known as the Homeschool Act, through the House Education Policy Committee.

“Illinois Democrats in Springfield proved today that they want to control our children and take away parent’s rights. These draconian policies are anti-family and will insert the government into parents’ day-to-day lives. Let’s be clear – this fight isn’t over and we will continue to do everything possible to protect our homeschool families.”

Despite strong opposition from parents, who filed over 38,000 witness slips against the amendment, and no Republican support, Democrats continue to work against Illinois families.
