Illinois Democrats Deny Harris’s Border Failures

CHICAGO — Yesterday, Illinois Democrats denied reality voting against condemning Vice President Kamala Harris’s handling of the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed cities like Chicago and others across the nation. Every Democrat (except one who lacked the courage to vote on the position) voted down the resolution, which passed the House of Representatives yesterday.

Illinois Republican Party Chair Kathy Salvi released the following statement:
“Democrats in this state have told us to believe our lying eyes so many times, they’ve started to do it themselves. From denying unquestionable outmigration numbers to gaslighting families with tax hikes they call tax cuts, the lies have become so extreme that Democrats in this state actually believe Vice President Harris’s handling of the border was not an unmitigated disaster. Under the Biden/Harris administration, border interactions have skyrocketed, reaching an all time peak of 250,000 just this past December. Democrats who voted to applaud Vice President Harris’s border policy should know that her failures are your failures this November. “

Governor Pritzker Treats Illinois Like a Stepping Stone

CHICAGO — As Democrats from across the country scramble to get into Vice President Kamala Harris’s good graces, JB Prtizker has joined the fray hitting the liberal national media circuit as the latest Governor to kiss the ring in a desperate attempt to leave his state for Washington.  Pritzker has made no secret that he has ambitions beyond *just* governing our state.

Illinois Republican Party Chair Kathy Salvi released the following statement:

“No one is surprised that JB Pritzker is chomping at the bit to leave Illinois. He’s shown more interest in campaigning around the country this year than he has in reducing the tax burden that has made Illinois the least “tax friendly” state in the country and 2nd in the country for residents leaving. We welcome Vice President Harris considering Governor Pritzker, because his poor track record would all but guarantee our neighbors, Wisconsin and Michigan, swing Republican, as they’ve benefitted from the mismanagement of our state by an out of touch billionaire. He’s all yours, madam Vice President.”

What They Are Saying about ILGOP Chair Kathy Salvi

CHICAGO — Last week, the Illinois Republican Party saw President Trump and the Republican National Committee outline the priorities of the Republican Party and the path to victories up and down the ballot in November. New Chair Member elect, Kathy Salvi, also spoke to reporters about the future of the Illinois Republican Party. Here’s what they are saying:

NBC5: New GOP leader Kathy Salvi vows to ‘make Illinois red again’

For the first time since the election last week, the chairwoman-elect shared her message for the party during a breakfast for delegates on Wednesday morning.”

“‘We’re going to make Illinois red again,’ Salvi said.”

. . .

‘My position as the party chair will be to collaborate with every person who’s on the ballot to support them in winning their election, and I support the Republican platform,’ Salvi said.”

Capitol News Illinois: Salvi gives first address to GOP crowd

“Salvi tried to put party divisions aside, declaring that Republicans will be unified in 2024 despite her predecessor’s resignation letter lamenting that too many Illinois Republicans would prefer to fight other Republicans than work to defeat Democrats.”

“Salvi and McCombie both focused on electing more Republicans in the deeply blue Illinois, with Salvi returning to her speech’s chorus: ‘Republican unity wins in 2024.'”

“Although Salvi doesn’t officially step into her new position until the end of the week, she was elected by the state central committee last Friday. She said she had a “single-minded dedication to winning elections,” and remarked that “everyone who is willing to take the Republican ballot is our friend.” She was slated to participate in her first media availability afterward.”

The Daily Line: Kathy Salvi takes over Illinois GOP with eye on expanding Republican voters??

Kathy Salvi took over the Illinois Republican Party on Friday with Republicans in a good mood. After Illinois Republicans entered Republican National Convention (RNC) week facing questions about internal divisions, members put on a united face in Milwaukee behind nominee Donald Trump with aspirations of moving past their own differences in Illinois.

Chicago Sun Times: Kathy Salvi elected as next Illinois Republican Party chair

“As we prepare to nominate the next President of the United States, Illinois stands as a testament to what Democrat governance can do: out of control cost of living, rampant crime, and rife with corruption,” Salvi said in a statement. “Illinois Republicans will stand and fight for our conservative ideals and set this state, and nation, back on the right track.”

Chicago Sun Times: MIRA? New Illinois GOP chair Kathy Salvi vows to end ‘blue funk’: ‘We’re gonna make Illinois red again’

“Incoming Illinois Republican Party Chair Kathy Salvi on Wednesday encouraged state GOP members to shake off the “blue funk” of deeply Democratic Illinois and “put your whole heart into a fresh new day” for Republicans.”

“Salvi struck a familiar refrain of unity among Illinois delegates this week at the Republican National Convention, pushing for “culture of collaboration” in a divided state party that is trying to claw its way back to statewide relevance in Illinois.”

“‘I love this party, because sometimes we air our dirty laundry with one another,” Salvi said during her first public address since her election last week as the next party chair. ‘We need to say, ‘You know, let’s give that person the benefit of a fresh new day.’ And that’s how we win elections here in Illinois.'”

. . .

“‘Well, I’ll tell you, that blue funk is over. We’re gonna make Illinois red again,’ Salvi said.”

“‘I promise to foster a spirit and culture of collaboration of communication and a single-minded dedication to winning elections. Expect this open-mindedness, yet faithfulness, to the principles outlined in our Republican platform: less government, lower taxes and more freedom,’ she said.”

Illinois Republican Chairwoman-Elect Kathy Salvi Statement

CHICAGO — Following today’s vote by acclamation to elect Kathy Salvi as the next Chair of the Illinois Republican Party, the Chairwoman-Elect released the following statement:

“It is an honor to be recognized by my fellow Illinois Republicans as the next Chair of the Illinois Republican Party. As we prepare to nominate the next President of the United States, Illinois stands as a testament to what Democrat governance can do: out of control cost of living, rampant crime, and rife with corruption. Kathy Salvi Elected Chair of the Illinois Republican Party

CHICAGO — Today, The State Central Committee of the Illinois Republican Party elected Kathy Salvi as the next Chair by acclamation, with a start date of July 19th in accordance with outgoing Chairman Don Tracy’s resignation.

Chairman Tracy released the following statement following the election of the new Chair:

“Congratulations to Kathy Salvi for taking on this challenging yet important position to build a brighter future for Illinois. Republicans in this state are united behind President Trump and understand that the Biden/Pritzker agenda is wrong for our families. We will show in Milwaukee this week that we are unified in purpose – to make this state and this country great once again with a message of hope and prosperity for the future.”

SPIN/REALITY: Pritzker Continues to Prevaricate

CHICAGO — Yesterday, JB Pritzker, one of President Biden’s biggest cheerleaders, was caught on a hot mic contradicting his public support of Joe Biden and showing concern about the state of the race. Pritzker refuses to be OPENLY honest with Illinois and won’t even say if he is interested in running for President himself. See Pritzker’s spin vs the reality:

There’s only one creep in this race and it’s Eric Sorenson.

CHICAGO — In case you missed it, Democrat Eric Sorenson’s race is going so poorly that he has resulted in name calling to try to save his job, calling Judge Joe McGraw “creepy.” The only thing that is unsettling and utterly CREEPY is Sorenson’s political agenda. See for yourself:

Sorenson said that giving sex change drugs to kids helps his district “thrive”

Sorenson defended hosting drag shows for minors

Sorenson was on the board of a group that pushed pornographic materials onto kids

Sorenson made jokes about rape

There’s only one creep in this race and it’s Eric Sorenson.
