- Brandon Johnson’s $165 MILLION tax hike was just approved by the Chicago City Council as Johnson makes it clear that he’s coming for Chicago families’ paychecks.
Bottom Line: This has gone on long enough. Illinois cannot afford more bloated budgets and families cannot afford the tax hikes that wannabe-President Pritzker and Brandon Johnson are proposing.
